Sexual Sin IS NOT Unforgivable: Apostles Series Article - Ministers Fall Victim
Neither were the many proven reports of Roman Catholic Priests buggering alter boys. While I was an alter boy as a child ~ confessing with regularity to the ‘Sin of Masturbation’ ~ I never knew that some of God’s men ~ with the ‘Magic Fingers’ ~ did nasty things to naughty boys. LOL
I never knew about Jesus either. I Knew About ‘The Law!’ What a shame?

Traditional American Values
Having recently been a candidate I was exposed to meeting a lot of different and interesting people.
I made it a point to be honest with people about who I am what I believed in. Believe it or not the most negative responses I got were not about my having had deferred adjudication when I was 17, but rather my lack of religious belief.
I was actually a bit shocked about the number of “looks” I got when I told people I am an atheist. Although people seemed to get over it pretty quickly after discussing my stand on religion and religious tolerance. But it was that initial “look” that really surprised me.

Buddhism on the Rise in America
The American Religious Identity Survey reports a 170 percent rise in adherents among the various Buddhism schools from 1990 to 2000, and puts the 2004 total at 1.5 million adherents. Richard Seager, author of Buddhism in America, considers this 'a low reasonable number.' He believes Asian immigrants account for two-thirds of this total and converts about one-third. This makes Buddhism the country's fourth-largest religion after Christianity, Judaism and Islam.
