What is Solar Power?
It is only a small fraction of the sun’s bright light that touches the earth, specifically around one-hundredth of a millionth of a percent). Many people wonder what is solar power? Even the tiny percentage of sunlight that touches the earth is plenty to meet our energy and power needs.

Truth
Parents, sons, daughters, wives and husbands, every moment, day and year of your life you make decisions based on what you believe and know at the time. Sometimes you make those decisions with so much clarity and knowing, that life works itself out- even when there were/are rough spots along the way. Sometimes, what you know now would have worked life out differently. Now that I have lost my rose-colored glasses, everywhere I go I see people stuck in the decisions they wished they could change, the idea of someday doing what they say, but mostly saying all the things they will never do. They are all smarter than they think. They just have to simply find their religion- continuously doing what they know and feel is right inside, where family exists and extends to those who are of our blood or not- our real family.

Pluto Decides Astronomers Are Not People
Well, they did it.
A conclave of astronomers officially downgraded the ninth planet, Pluto, into something less.
So, officially, we have eight planets instead of nine.
Imagine having the time on your hands to debate, over the course of years, whether something constitutes a planet. What a luxury!
If there was ever an argument that academics, such as these astronomers, have their heads in the clouds, well this decision of theirs is it.

Disease of Fear, Disease of Hate, and Human WMDs
On the heels of President Bush's recent press conference, during which he hoisted the Republican 2006 national campaign flag of fear, Curt Weldon, a House Rep from Pennsylvania—a state that is the political equivalent of Sybil—summed it all up very neatly. He boldly stated, if we leave Iraq now, we'll be fighting the terrorists in our grocery stores and streets.
Oh, really?

Pluto - Cast Off and Treated Like a Bum
I am in mourning for an old friend. I am depressed. Along with his eight siblings, Pluto is the guy I grew up with. Like the unwanted weakling of a herd of wildebeest roaming the Serengeti plains of East Africa, dear Pluto has been racially profiled a dwarf, stripped naked, nudged out of the family, discarded and condemned to eternally wander the vast emptiness of space, alone and forgotten. Having spent years of my youth at the wondrous Hayden Planetarium, kid sister to an older brother's passion for astronomy, I too developed a strong sense of connection to the mysteries of what's out there. Comets and asteroids come and go, but a planet is a thing of beauty forever.

Bias - So What Else Is New?
Have you ever notice how biased the media is? Let’s look at the press for the moment. The New York Times is thought to have a liberal bias. How do you go about checking it out to see if it’s true? What you have to do is take a look at what’s being published that’s negatively based, and when is it being published.
