Why Is My Computer Running So Slow?
If you are reading this, then you are experiencing what many other are also: a slow computer. You are probably waiting on programs to load, or start up, or waiting on the cursor to catch up with your typing. There is nothing more annoying than when you click on a button, or icon, and you must wait for the computer to actually perform the function you are asking it to do. If you ask some people what the problem might be, they will tell you to increase the size of your memory. While that may work, I would use that as a last result. I will give the first thing I would check, and fix, before you start upgrading your computer parts.

Transitioning To Firefox
Many of you have considered installing the Firefox browser

What Is File Association And Its Relation With The Registry?
A file association is the program that windows associate with a file. Windows will detect what type of file it is and then associate it with the appropriate program and launch the program when the file is opened. Once we are done with the files we delete the files but the programs remain in the system. The list of such programs builds up over time and we need a windows registry cleaner to clean the registry of these redundant files and programs.

Is It Really Progress
How can a society that exists on instant mashed potatoes, packaged cake mixes, frozen dinners, and instant cameras teach patience to its young?
-Paul Sweeney
I came across this quote today and it made me stop and think of how impatient we have become.
When computers first came out, people expected that it would take some time for them to process whatever actions we had given them to do. Huge rooms were devoted to the computers. The instruction cards were input and the operators went off to do other things while the computer churned away on its task, eventually spitting out the information at the other end.

Coming Undone
TO come undone is to be ruined. With computers, you can often avoid this state by using the undo command - a feature we take for granted until we need it to bail us out of a spot of trouble. Conveniently, this feature works on multiple levels on most applications, so you can go back and undo a number of commands starting from the latest to the earliest. On operating systems, however, this feature is available only in the most rudimentary form.
